Here is the quilt I am teaching in April at a local quilt shop "Quilts Ole"
It is constructed out of all "wonky" blocks, with as little measurement as possible. It is a quilt I designed specifically for teaching the technique that I have learned through participation in www.BlockLotto.com and from seeing the technique in magazines and online other places. So many people have asked me about this technique when viewing other quilts that I have made that I felt a class was in order.
I custom quilted it on my long arm...
I love looking at the back with just the white fabric.
I hope you can see some of the free motion quilting. It was a lot of fun to do and came out beautifully. I did feathers in the border that I used my computer for but think they may have been better if I had done free motion. Live and learn.
Hope to have some great pictures to share from the class next month!
No surprise that I love your quilt--what fun your students are going to have. I hope you'll share this "lotto inspired" quilt on the Block Lotto site. I know everyone would love to see it.
