Sewing today...

Today was spent sewing with friends!  Yeay!
I made some lovely string blocks on my 1964 featherweight manufactured in Great Britain- new to me.  This is the first project I have done on it.
It sewed beautifully!  I am in love...

Here is the featherweight my quilting guild is raffling off on April 29th.
It is from 1948 and is in beautiful condition-the case and everything!
Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!  Let the Monday race begin...

  1. I have a featherweight, but I always used to want a "mint" one like yours. It's a beauty. I'm spending my Monday with the Quilt Guild in Santa Fe, making kids quilts for charity. It should be an interesting way to meet them for the first time ...

  2. Mine is actually white but I have seen the mint ones and they are really cool! I also am spending Monday with the quilt guild here in Albuquerque. NMQA. I am a member of the board for the first time this year and a little nervous. We won't be sewing though- business meeting tomorrow so you will have a bit more fun than we will...
