Flying geese

This is all I see right now.  I cut the 600 rectangles for the Hawaii Sunset flying geese blocks and about half enough corners.  I will need to wait for my pink fabric to arrive to do the rest of those corners.  Not sure if I want to mark the diagonal on 1200  1 & 3/4 inch squares or just try to eyeball it.
I also cut strips for the 9 patch blocks so hopefully I have enough to complete all of them.

All I did today was quilting, cooking, and laundry.  Tomorrow I MUST get some exercise.
Happy stitching!

  1. It will be easy to eyeball those little squares, wow if you double stitch those corners, you will have 1200 bonus little itty bitty HST's too. Can't wait to see what your making. I have a quilt in progress too with lots of flying geese.

  3. WOW!!! All 600 rects cut already?!?! Way ahead of me now :) As for marking...? I "eyeball" by lining up the 0" mark on my Bernina's bed. I don't think Andee or I mind if this gets extended beyond the end of September, so....enjoy it when you can; but don't stress yourself out :)
