What in the world...?

This is my latest quilting purchase.

I know, I see all those creased brows wondering what it is (kinda looks like a gurney) and what does it have to do with quilting?

Well, it is called a creeper- you know, like mechanics use...

And, it is for this...
I have to crawl under my long arm machine to check the thread tension- I am never happy with just peeking under the edge.  I usually crawl under about every third row or so, just to make sure all is okay.  Now, I am not OLD but old enough, and chubby enough, to make it not such an easy thing to do, so...

I think it is going to be a great solution!
Plus, it is just fun to roll around on a creeper.

  1. I love your new toy ... I mean tool. Great solution for examining those stitches.

  2. Oh I had a laugh when I first saw your picture! I knew exactly what it was --- from the original use (as in garage).

I hadn't thought about it being useful for quilting!

But with my luck my dogs would decide that they should ride it with me & I'd have even more trouble! LOL

    Thank you for the giggles.
