I have been sewing all day, which I haven't done in a LONG time and my back is KILLING me! Right between my shoulder blades! Gonna have to go roll it when I get done here.
But I have enjoyed myself immensely today!
First, I finished this quilt back- a recent project. It has Disney villains on it in mostly purple and a lovely poison green!
It is a disappearing 9 patch starting with 18 inch 9 patch blocks.
It will be the back- the dark side of this quilt...
The front/Light side will be all red, black, and white. It is all Mickey and Minnie. This side was designed by my daughter, like two summers ago. She designed it on EQ7 and chose all the fabrics- most from my stash- just purchased the Mickey & Minnie. Funny that I got the back done before the front, huh,but when inspiration calls...
This is only one of two block types in the quilt.
This quilt will fit my daughter's bed when finished.
My son told me I could make him a "Hearthstone" quilt. Hmmm... that could only mean applique- I don't like applique...
I also worked on my Rainbow Scrap Challenge. That first one is the one I made today. Those other two are from like 2 years ago and that's all I got done. This year I am going to try to do better!
And these are the Block Lotto Blocks that I worked on this morning, getting them done just in time for the drawing. can't wait to see where they will be going.

Loving the colors in your Disney Villains! Wow; a18" disappearing 9-patch...haven't seen that before...sounds like a nice one...love your projects...I just got to cut strips for my RSC15--and even tho' my blues are so sad, I am excited to join in this year. hugs, Julierose
