Here is a table topper that I put together this morning. I used a charm pack that I had so it was already cut out. I worked from about 8:30 to 11:00. It is done without a binding, pillowcase style is how I have heard it described. It is actually more purple than blue. I guess it was not the best idea to take it out into the sun.
Here it is up close. The fabrics have bees and flowers on them. Then I practiced free motion quilting on it with my Bernina Stitch regulator. I am not very good at it yet. I go too fast, then it beeps at me and I slow down which makes it kind of choppy.
Here is the back. You can see the quilting pretty good here. The back is actually a yellow stripe with little purple flowers on it.
I plan on using it on my Pub table for spring. I will try to get better pictures of it because it is much prettier than it appears in these pictures.
