Valentines and Pink Scraps

Here is my quilt as you go table runner that I made today in about 2 and a 1/2 hours.  All it needs now is the binding.  It seems to take a while as you are sewing on each strip, trimming threads, ironing then doing the next strip but when you are done, it is already quilted!
Here is my inspiration...
It is from the magazine: Quilts and More- fall 2010

I have enough center blocks to make 2 more but I am OUT OF PINK SCRAPS!  I still have the dark ones but no light pinks.  I also have a 4th heart that is not attached to a square yet.  I may have to make them out of additional colors like yellows, blues, and whites added in with my pinks.  I want to use my stash-trying for NO MORE fabric for a while!

I cut the hearts out of a solid pink for a foundation, added the strips, trimmed and then machine appliqued them onto a square.

Here you can see the back & how the quilting looks.
I am really happy with this one!
Hope the people I decide to give it to for Valentines Day are not looking now...

Happy Stitching!
