May Day Snow

Well, for the first time in about 18 years, we have snow here in the desert on May 1st.  It did not stick, nothing got slick, by Wednesday it is supposed to be back up to 80 degrees but still-SNOW in MAY!

We have officially reached the end of the week of celebration of my daughter's 13th birthday.  She is officially a teen and the world has not ended yet.  The sky has not fallen.  Maybe I will survive it after all.

3 weeks and 2 days left of school until summer break.  June looks like a busier month than I have ever had before though.  So much for a relaxing summer.  Maybe July will actually see some extended quilting time.
Have a Great week!
