Dresden Plate finished!

I have completed the binding on the antique quilt I was working on and it went to its owner yesterday!  He is a dear friend of mine and I was so happy that he really loved the quilting!  He is so excited to have the quilt at home now.
I am not sure you can see it but we chose a solid light blue for the binding.  It matched the antique fabrics beautifully!
He brought me a lovely double (or is it triple?) Irish chain, set in a great red solid, to work on next. We still have to choose a backing and binding for it before I can get started.
I am so very much in awe of being able to work on these lovely quilts!

On other fronts, I did not loose or gain any weight this week.  I knew I wasn't eating like I should and I only got to go running once.  I am afraid this week will be much the same since I am headed out of town to a quilt show for the weekend-no running, lots of restaurant food-not a good combo.  But, I will be doing lots of quilting.  I have about 4 donation quilts lined up to quilt while I demonstrate the quilt machine.

As far as cleaning, I did get the kitchen cleaned up quite nicely yesterday-even got down on all fours to scrub the floor.  But, the rest of the house is very much its usual disastrously messy self!

This morning I have been teaching a beginning quilting class to a delightful new friend who is brand new to quilting!  We are both having so much fun!

Hope everyone is having a lovely week!
