Hand Quilting

I started hand quilting my Amish Buggies quilt tonight.  I only got through 1 and a half threads and my fingers hurt, my wrist hurts and I am remembering why I DO NOT HAND QUILT!  However, I have started now so I will have to finish, right?  It will be Christmas before I get it done-and that is if I work on it nightly!
