Week's progress

I haven't done much sewing this week.  I have been focusing on yard and house work. 
But, my family has decided that we need to watch every Harry Potter Movie again before we go see the new one next week for my son's birthday.  Well, I LOVE HP but I am not one to re-watch movies or re-read books, so, I have used that family movie time to watch and quilt my little June Patriotic quilt and I am almost done after 2 movies.  Hopefully I can show it finished soon.

Here is what we did last weekend- mulch the border of the yard...

When we originally did this, they put in brown mulch and so it just looked like dirt.  After 2 summers, all that brown mulch is gone.  Hope the red lasts longer than that.  Looking at this last picture you can see the end section where we still need to finish.  Hope that gets done this weekend.  Looks like I need to fill the bird feeder also. 

However, I plan on sewing for most of the day today.  There are some things that I really need to get done!
