My Quilt Story...and a little giveaway!

My baby clothes quilt is featured on  Quilt Story today!
So, I think a giveaway is in order!
I have 3 copies of Quiltmaker 100 Blocks Magazine Volume 7 from May which features my pagoda block and 99 more lovlies!  And, I will have to spend some time shopping for the perfect fat quarter or two to go with the magazines, between now and then!

Here is one of my quilt tops from my pagoda block.

Hop over to Quilt Story with the above link, then leave me a comment here about which part of the Baby clothes quilt you like best.  Leave me a second comment if you are a follower or become a follower of Simplify and Quilt.  A third chance to win will be based on you becoming a follower of Poodles in the Stash at http://threepoodlesquilting.blogspot.com/ .  Leave me a comment here about that as well!  I will draw three winners on Wednesday afternoon, sometime after 5pm.

  1. I like the scrappy look, all the butterflies, and the princess frog-just makes me smile.

  2. I popped over after reading your article on A Quilt Story. A friend's husband saved all of his shirts from their dating days and early marriage. They are in a box in their attic. He knows which one he wore on their first date, etc. I just offered yesterday to turn them into a surprise quilt for him. Then I panicked because of all the different fabrics I know I'll find. I'm glad I read your article. Saves me from looking up the information! Iron on stuff to the rescue. Cute finish for you!

  3. The Frog block is my favorite, with the bunny block real close behind. I learned to quilt when the year my son graduated high school. I had kept many of his shirts and wanted to make a t-shirt quilt for him. Oh I should have stopped there, but I didn't. I enjoy all aspects of quilting, including shopping for more fabric.
